Shipping and Pick Up Policy

1. STANDARD SHIPPING

 

The Head Shop Rapid City ships all orders via United Parcel Service (UPS), Federal Express (FedEx), and United Stated Postal Service (USPS) to locations ONLY within the United States.  Orders will be processed with the least expensive shipping option with delivery times ranging from 5-15 business days.  Shipping times are estimated by the shipping carrier and are not guaranteed through The Head Shop Rapid City. 

 

Discreet Billing/Shipping/Packaging:

 

We value your privacy and work hard to guarantee that your information is safe with us, which includes discreet shipping and billing.  When you order from us, there is no need to worry about anyone knowing what is inside your package.  Each order is packaged in a plain brown box with no store or product information listed.  To protect this even further, our return address on your shipping label will read "Davis & Davis LLC".  We promise that no mention of the product or "The Head Shop Rapid City" will be displayed on your package.

All purchases made from our online and offline stores will appear on your statements as "Davis & Davis LLC”. Product names will NOT be listed on your statements, just the order total, date, and "Davis & Davis LLC". 

 

Shipping Carriers - United Parcel Service (UPS), Federal Express (FedEx), and United States Postal Service (USPS):

 

The Head Shop Rapid City ships our packages using United Parcel Service (UPS), Federal Express (FedEx), and United States Postal Service (USPS).  We have found these carriers to be the most cost-effective solution for our customers. Shipping rates and estimated times are received from the shipping carrier and automatically calculated during checkout based on the geographic location of the recipient and the size/weight of the shipment. Adult signature may be required upon delivery. 

 

Shipping Tracking and Insurance:

 

UPS, FedEx, and USPS services offer full tracking capabilities, which includes updates once the package is shipped, reaches a shipping hub, and once the item is delivered.  Insurance up to $100 is included in case your package is damaged. Tracking numbers will be sent to you via email as soon as your order is fulfilled.  Please allow up to 24 hours for your tracking information to update after shipment confirmation is received.

 

 

2. DELIVERY SCHEDULE

 

Shipment Time:

 

Orders are always shipped as quickly as possible. Orders received by 5:00 p.m. MT Monday - Friday are normally shipped out the next day. Normal shipping days are Monday - Saturday and do not include national holidays. Any orders received after 5:00 p.m. MT on Saturday are shipped first thing Monday morning. This schedule may vary slightly during extremely busy times such as sales events, holidays, and inclement weather. Estimated shipping times provided by the carrier at checkout refer to the number of days it takes to receive your package after the shipment has been picked up from our location in Rapid City, South Dakota.

  

Delivery Time:

 

Shipments delivered outside the estimated delivery date are not the responsibility of The Head Shop Rapid City and will not be refunded. Estimated shipping times may vary slightly during extremely busy times such as sales events and holidays.

  

Undeliverable Address:

 

There are several reasons a package could be returned to our location as undeliverable. These reasons may include the item is too big for a Post Office box, an incorrect address, an incorrect address format, failed delivery attempts, the package was damaged during transit, other transportation problems, or other address problems.

 

When packages are returned as undeliverable, you will be contacted via email and provided with an in-store credit, less shipping charges and a 10% restocking fee.

 

Orders that are returned to The Head Shop Rapid City as undeliverable are not able to be re-shipped.  If you would still like to purchase items that were undeliverable, you are welcome to place a new order on our website.

 

If you suspect your package is undeliverable, you will need to wait until the package is received back to our location to receive a credit.  However, you are welcome to place a new order in the meantime and your original order will be credited as soon as it is returned.

 

3. RISK OF LOSS

 

All items purchased from The Head Shop Rapid City are made pursuant to a shipment contract.  This means the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon tender of the item to the carrier.  If your tracking information shows that your package has been delivered but you have not received your package, you will need to contact your local carrier's branch to resolve the issue.

 

4. PICK UP

 

The Head Shop Rapid City offers a free pickup option for our local customers.  If the ‘Pick Up’ option is selected during check out, the order will be ready at our location in Rapid City within one hour.  Orders must be placed by 7:00 p.m. for pick up by closing at 8:00 p.m. MT.  Pick Up orders will be held for three business days.

The Head Shop business hours are Monday - Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., excluding national holidays.     

  

5. CHANGES TO THE SHIPPING AND PICK UP POLICY

As stated above, we will make changes to this Shipping and Pick Up Policy from time to time. It is our custom to provide notification on this page when we make material changes. The date that this Shipping and Pick Up Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring that you periodically visit our site(s) or Service(s) and this Shipping and Pick Up Policy to check for any changes.
